Geraldine was born in American Fork Utah, on January 1, 1959 to William Patrick and RhuEmma (Smith) Patrick. She was born prematurly and with many health problems. She wasn’t able to do some of the activities with other children. So she became very close to her grandmother Harriet Smith, who nursed Geraldine back to health at birth. Geraldine was very kind to everyone. She loved to paint, sew, and crochet.She married Ralph West and had two children. They later divorced. Then she married Howard Deitlaf and they had two children. She loved her children more than anything else. Geraldine is survived by her husband Howard Deitlaf, a daughter Linda West and son Sidney West. Also a daughter Tammy and a son Leon Deitlaf and a stepson Randy Deitlaf. Her parents, two sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be under the direction of Olpin Family Mortuary.
