She loved to grow any kind of flowers that she could find and maintain her garden. She also enjoyed crafts and canning. She taught us how to work hard in life and to have respect for other people’s beliefs. She always took pride in a clean home. Mom retired from American Fork hospital after 19 years of service. She loved her job there and the friendships that she made. However her greatest passion was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her family with all of her heart and we all loved her and her funny little ways. She is going to be greatly missed!!
Mom was blessed with a daughter Christine (Edgar)Kearley of Lindon. She then married Bill Jacklin on May 21st, 1975. This union brought mom another daughter Sherrill Jacklin of Orem. She is survived by her sweetheart, 2 daughters,8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Her brother and sister in law, Jack and Elda Brand of Heber, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death by her parents, brother’s Jimmy, Billy, Bruce, Mark, Clyde, Burdette and two sisters that were stillborn.
Funeral services will be held on December 21st, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah. Friends and family may call from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
